Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy describes how LinkedList collects, uses, and protects your data.
1. DATA WE COLLECT
1.1. Account data:
- Name, email, and username (nameTag);
- Profile photo (optional);
- Authentication provider (email/password, Google, Apple).
1.2. Usage data:
- Lists, notes, and tasks created by you;
- Activities and comments in shared lists;
- Language and theme preferences;
- Marketing email opt-in preference.
1.3. Technical data:
- Push notification token (FCM);
- App version and device language.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
2.1. To provide and maintain the collaborative lists and notes service.
2.2. To synchronize your data across devices.
2.3. To send push notifications about activities in your lists.
2.4. To send transactional emails (password recovery, invitations).
2.5. To send marketing emails and newsletters, only if you opt in.
2.6. To ensure security and prevent misuse.
3. OFFLINE-FIRST AND YOUR DATA
3.1. LinkedList works offline-first: your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite.
3.2. When connected, data is synchronized with our servers via gRPC.
3.3. You can use the app without an internet connection. Synchronization occurs in the background when connectivity is restored.
4. DATA SHARING
4.1. Your data is not sold to third parties.
4.2. We share data only with essential service providers:
- Google (OAuth authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging);
- Apple (Sign in with Apple authentication);
- Hosting infrastructure provider.
4.3. When inviting users to your lists, they will have access to shared content based on the granted permission.
5. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
5.1. We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send notifications about activities in your lists.
5.2. You can manage notifications in the app settings or your operating system settings.
5.3. The FCM token is registered on login and removed on logout.
6. MARKETING EMAILS
6.1. You may opt in to receive emails with news, updates, and announcements.
6.2. This preference is requested during registration and can be changed in settings.
6.3. You can unsubscribe at any time.
6.4. Transactional emails (security, account recovery) are not affected by this preference.
7. SECURITY
7.1. Passwords are stored in encrypted form.
7.2. Authentication tokens (JWT) are stored in the device's secure storage (FlutterSecureStorage / Keychain / Keystore).
7.3. Communication between the app and the server uses TLS (Transport Layer Security).
7.4. We limit data access to employees who need it to operate the service.
8. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
8.1. Your data is retained while your account is active.
8.2. You can request account deletion within the application.
8.3. After deletion, your data is removed from servers within 30 days.
8.4. Local data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or delete your account.
9. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR / LGPD)
9.1. Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access your data;
- Correct incomplete or inaccurate data;
- Request deletion of your data;
- Request data portability;
- Revoke consent for consent-based processing.

10. CHILDREN
10.1. LinkedList is not directed to children under 13.
10.2. We do not intentionally collect data from children under 13.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
11.1. We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
11.2. We will notify users of significant changes.
11.3. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
